A voluntary group of National Trust Members and Volunteers in support of the National Trust

At this year's AGM a founder member of the Association stepped down as Chairman.
Cliff Hubbold had served the Association as its first Treasurer, then as Vice Chairman
and, latterly as Chairman. He had given strong support to the Association, often quietly
and behind the scenes.
We thank him on behalf of all the members for all he has done during the 24 years of
the Association's existence and wish him many years of good health and happiness in
the future.
David F. Vodden (President).
We would like to welcome our new Chairman, Mr Ray Murray who was nominated at the July Management meeting
and who was accepted by the Association’s members at the A.G.M.
Our summer events are now well underway. A coach outing to the S.S. Great Britain at Bristol has taken place and
the first car outing visited Holme Pierrepont in Nottinghamshire. Two walks have been held and Dr and Mrs Tony
Newton opened their garden for us. Although the weather was not so good the garden was well; worth the visit.
All events take quite a lot of organisation and as the Association has now been in existence for almost 25 years we
are keen to recruit new members to the Social Committee to give new ideas and different approaches to keep the
Association healthy and up to date. Anyone who would like to join us please send
